Current research projects of Pharmetrica include:

1. Statistical research on pharmaceutical consumption in Greece, presented in quantities and in values, separately for hospitals and pharmacies.
2. Statistical research on pharmaceutical consumption in terms of Defined Daily Doses (DDD's), the unit recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and considered as the most appropriate for international comparisons.
3. Statistical research on the imports of pharmaceutical products.
4. Detailed research on the consumption of pharmaceuticals in all Public Hospitals, presented both quantitatively and qualitatively.
5. Development of a computerized system for the monitoring of pharmaceutical consumption within hospitals.
6. Development of a relational database to monitor price-data in European countries.
